Become a Norfolk Harbor Ambassador

J&A Racing’s event‑specific Ambassador program puts passionate runners at the heart of our largest race weekends. We select a small, dedicated team for each event to help generate excitement, build community, and spread the J&A Racing spirit. 

Requirements: 

Ideal candidates are experienced, connected, and enthusiastic. To be considered, Norfolk Harbor Ambassadors must meet the following criteria:

• Event experience: Have participated in the Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon Weekend event three (3) or more times
• Social reach: Maintain public social media profiles with more than 1,000 followers (per channel on Facebook; Instagram or TikTok) 
• Online promotion: Post organically about the event at least once per week on Instagram/Facebook, tagging @jandaracing and using event hashtags (e.g., race countdowns, training updates, or event announcements).
• Race weekend support: Be available to work race weekend (November 20-22, 2026), not conflicting with participating in event. 
• Material distribution: Assist with distributing race weekend materials (e.g., brochures; posters)
• Participate in race event.

Incentives: 

• One (1) complimentary race entry (Including Get Nauti and Nauti Lite Challenge). Non‑transferable and non‑exchangeable for cash.
• One (1) complimentary hotel room for race weekend (specific nights outlined in contract). Room and taxes only; incidentals, parking fees (if applicable), and damage deposit are the responsibility of the Ambassador. 
• Unique 10% discount code to share with followers, run clubs, and the broader community. The Ambassador may distribute this code at their discretion; no additional compensation is provided for its use.
• Exclusive J&A Racing/Event branded gear provided to the Ambassador.

Timeline: 

Norfolk Harbor: Application Open July 15; Application Closes July 22;

Ambassadorship Begins August 15; Ends November 22
